Buy iPhone For Christmas

I want buy an iphone to my darling for this 2011 christmas what are you think. I think she will like it but it is very expensive what will i do. who will give me best idea for 2011 christmas gift. I bought a red rose for last christmas and i want buy an expensive things to my darling but iphone too veyr expensive so can i try other things, or i will buy red rose again :).
